First LOTD :-)

This is a picture my Dad took of me in New York last March, only just found it the other day and I liked my outfit so I thought I would do one of those look of the day type posts which is the first time I've really done this.

This is my typical winter look - warm! Leather jacket, Doc Martens, big scarf and beret. Thats a denim skirt which in this pic looks like shorts lol. Big grey hoodie and my awesome camera...what else could I want :-)

I'm also posting this because it was my parents Silver Wedding Anniversary on Tuesday and my Dad surprised us with........a trip to New York in December! Ahhh, I'm so excited! And obviously had to celebrate this fact with a picture of me walking along the Brooklyn Promenade.

AIW Name Chain!

I think I have found an item that I will never take off. My one purchase of the day: an Alice In Wonderland name chain! The rest of the shop, FatallyFeminine, could be fatal on my bank account!



You can choose between Alice with the flamingo or holding a crown. It was a tough decision, especially since they also do one with the white rabbit!!



It might be silly, but I plan on getting the White Rabbit necklace (and matching ring!) when I get paid. Even though it's pretty the same necklace, but it's just soo perfect that I can't resist.

I am however having a bit of a problem with Etsy at the moment, I ordered a necklace on the 3rd of July which still isn't here. The seller posted saying they had been away and would reply to mails and send items on the 29th of July. No reply to either of my mails, and no necklace. I've now had to mail for the third time which I personally think is ridiculous and I hate chasing people but I want my damn necklace that I paid for with my hard-earned wages, pah!

Rant over.

I'm thinking of getting a skin for my blog, I do like it quite minimal but it's not very homely. If I was more computer-literate I would try myself lol :-)

First Stop Next Pay Day!

Today, I feel head over heels in looove with two Etsy shops. I have my next wages mentally spent already! haha.

My New Obsession!

Working in a jewellers is starting to cost me more than it should! For months I kept admiring these gorgeous glass beads called Trollbeads (they also do stunning silver ones) and I finally gave in and bought one! Luckily, I get a decent discout ;-)
This is just a short update to link you all to the Trollbead site, I'll post pictures of my own bracelet soon - the ones I took came out rotten once I had them on the computer!

I'll also be doing an update on my trip to London, my mini-raid on the dutyfree MAC make up, and all the goodies I have for flat!
